Join pianist Kevin on Thursday, May 21 at 7:30 PM (PST) for a virtual concert from St. Ignatius Parish in San Francisco in support of Musicians Foundation.
Founded in 1914, Musicians Foundation is the country’s oldest independent nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to musicians and their families in times of need, crisis or transition.
Since its inception, the Musicians Foundation has provided nation-wide support to thousands of musicians across all genres, offering the support necessary for them to weather financial difficulties and personal setbacks with dignity and security. Funds raised through concerts, events, bequests, and individual donations have enabled the Musicians Foundation to spend over a century giving back to the artists who make the music.
“I’m thrilled and honored to partner with Musicians Foundation to raise money for artists impacted by hardship and crisis. Although the global pandemic has forced the cancellation of many of my own concerts, I’m fortunate to have this opportunity provided by St. Ignatius Parish (SF) to share this virtual concert with you and raise some much-needed money for the foundation. Thank you for joining me in this event celebrating the spirit of community and the performing arts!”
Donations will be collected online to support professional performers, educators, and composers impacted by Coronavirus-related loss of work.
